Proportional Hysteresis Band Control for DC Voltage Stability of Three-Phase Single-Stage PV Systems

Ensuring the stability of DC-link voltage in grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems plays a critical role their reliable and continuous operation. DC fluctuation and, worst case, collapse will dramatically hamper real reactive power delivery to grid. This is more case single-stage inverters with no DC-DC boost stage, has varying nature. paper proposes new control approach for ensuring PV systems. The proposed strategy based on an adaptive hysteresis band controller (HBC), supplementing conventional blocks. offers capability prevent fast discharge capacitor keeps it within acceptable limits by quickly modifying phase shift applied inverter PWM through quick calculations. Results show that greatly improves system performance, various operating modes. scheme implemented real-time simulator, OPAL-RT, OP5600 verify its applicability effectiveness time.
